New Valve Contributes to
Success of Baker-Kurtz
The new Caterpillar designed and produced S3PC
("Small Proportional Post Pressure Compensated")
valve is an integral component in the hydraulic system solution used on the Baker Kurtz 3264 Mobile
Jaw Track Crusher. The Jaw Track is designed to operate as a primary crusher in concrete recycling.
This family of valves can either be hydraulic piloted or electro hydraulically actuated. They are
now in production at the Caterpillar Joliet, Il., facility.
The sectional design allows valves to be configured with two to nine sections. This offers great
versatility, giving the customer the ability to specify a valve that perfectly matches the demands
of the application.
System functions like ride control, anti-drift, and pilot supply can be incorporated into the
valve allowing you to reduce hydraulic lines in the system, thus reducing installation costs.
Key features of the *3PC family include:
- Close-center and load sensing
- Available integrated ride control
- Priority control of functions
- Proportional flow is shared among sections
- Internal anti-drift features
